The “winners” in the Met Office competition to name storms that may occur in 2015-16. Now I don’t wish to appear stormist, but shouldn’t a storm have a gnarly name that provokes images of thunder and roaring winds ?? I’m not sure that Storm Vernon or Storm Gertrude conjur up such an image.
