Over the last week i have had the great privilege to lead very talented photographers, CEO’s of huge tech businesses, steel company owners and school teachers around the hills. One common theme is that they want to learn to navigate so that they are more confident in the outdoors, and so that they can take friends, family and clients in to the ‘great outdoors’ too. I find this super inspiring. Tech has its place, but, perhaps increasingly, the pace of life necessitates an off-switch and some down-time spent outdoors with the sun and the wind and the great feeling of a day of gentle exercise outside. My clients this last week have ranged in age from ten to sixty-four. / This picture is of four generations of the Chauhan family sat on the perched block at Back Tor where they all grasped the basics of how to use a compass, in about ten minutes. // Please drop me a line if any of this outdoor stuff inspires you to want to spend a few days learning the simple skills that will open up a lifetime of adventures outdoors for you, your family and your friends. Cheers. πŸžβ›°πŸ•πŸŒ„β˜•οΈπŸ° (at Edale)
