One of those days when all three corners of the hypothermia triangle (wet + wind + cold) are present in spades even at relatively low altitudes on relatively benign hills. It’s properly hostile over Stanage / Burbage / North Lees just now. Standing up and seeing are both challenging. Those hills will be there tomorrow you know, and next week too. // “Mountains are not fair, or unfair, they’re just dangerous” – Reinhold Messner.
