The first picture is the male of the pair of Ring Ouzels whose nest I have been assigned to as the volunteer monitor as part of a BMC / RSPB / Eastern Moors Partnership project.

The second photo is walkers defying the ‘please do not disturb’ signs and getting uncomfortably close to the nest.

The third photo is a drobe being flown, despite the current ban, over the vicinity of the nest.

Increasingly I am minded that 80% of the work of most conservationists and environmentalists is due to human ignorance or stupidity.
