I’m a bit late to issue 124 of @the_fellrunner_magazine as the postman damaged and non-delivered it the first time …. but what a journal this has evolved in to !!! The quality of the design, words, and pictures is all excellent. Articles on hill skills and safety (Wendy Dodds on ‘the value of your whistle’, and Ian Winterburn on ‘hyperthermia’), inspiring stuff (The Ben by Jonny Muir, and some bloke by the name of Naylor ‘finishing off his 1962 Mountain Trial’), and thought provoking stuff on the impact of travel to races and events (‘Train to Run’ by Es Tressider and Finlay Wild). Fellrunner is no longer the niche journal solely for participants in the sport, theres is excellent writing in here of interest to anyone that ventures in to the hills and mountains regardless of their speed. 210 pages that are full of interest and scarce on advertisements. Bloody well done to the editorial team, and all of the contributors 👏👏👏👏👏
