….. and Mother Nature quietly stood up from the table, tapped her tea spoon against her cup, cleared her throat, and said, ‘i’d like, if i may, to quote Ralph Waldo Emerson, and to urge you away from your screens, implore you to don your boots, scarves, and bobble hats, and to venture outside to look at my screen. Emerson wrote, “the sky is the daily bread of the eyes”. With that she took her napkin, dabbed a bit of picalilli that was marooned on the corner of her mouth, nodded out of the window towards the skies over Stanage, and then sat back down.
