Down the Usual

Same old same old for me for Christmas Day

Early rise and a cold walk to the cabin

…. it was empty 🥳

Unfortunately i found it had been recently used by firestarters and rubbish leavers

So Grumpy Santa had to do ten minutes of tidying and cleaning before he could put his kettle on …

and then settle down for some eating and reading and enjoying the quiet ..

It were a bit on the unwarm side

A nod of thanks to whoever has repaired the old stile under Dinas Sitch and put a gate in. Much appreciated …

P.S. If you’re reading this and intend using any of the cabins / shelters / bothies in the uplands of the UK please have a lovely time but treat them with respect. The ‘Code’ of the Mountain Bothies Association is a good handrail for how to treat all upland shelters – even those that are not listed by the MBA
