So as well as everything that ‘normally’ goes off in the dark there are a lot of incidences of criminal activity against both wildlife and rural property. This ranges from the opportunistic (often on SurRon electric motorbikes) through to the use of drones and other technology by organised criminal gangs.

The latest strategy from the NPCC illuminates the various types of activity and outlines policing measures to combat wildlife and rural crime.
