The problem these days is you can’t just walk on to the moors with your mates and have a few bevvies and let off a load of fireworks and leave your shit everywhere without some do-gooders appearing out of the darkness in a 4×4 with some mega drone overhead.

Modern life is rubbish.
Five of the eight saw the error of their ways and walked back and cleaned up the mess. We had to use Sheriff DJI Matrice to herd up the other three. Decent chat. They knew they’d messed up. They were thankful we were only joking when we said they’d have to get in the reservoir to get their spent rockets out.

We observed them doing the walk of shame off the moors.

Quiet night all told. The thing this year seemed to be parking your vehicle at a vantage point and watching the fireworks. Some good banter with a various bunches of lads on Houndkirk. Several of them were in the ‘Two Days Club’ (there is a significant number of 4x4s that we see on the EMP patch at night during Oct – Jan that have been bought used in the preceding 2 days).
One dump of used fireworks was also found on Houndkirk.

We didn’t meet anyone called Guy or Guido. No traitors were hung nor quartered.
Were people far more responsible or did we just miss them ?
