…. glass of water and then it was off on bbq / fire check
Whilst at Higger taking a call about a bbq nearby i foolishly left my binos on the car roof …. and as i drove to the site i lost my binos. Bollocks.
The bbq was very close to a no barbecues sign. The person stated they thought the sign was intended only for those having bbq’s on the other side of the sign 🤷♂️. After we had extinguished the bbq the local fire brigade tender turned up from Hathersage. The aforementioned person having the bbq was then a complete arse verbally confrontational with the firefighter.
After a chat at 11pm with four people using a gas stove to cook a lamb curry on Higger i turned in.
Hopefully it will get cooler soon.
